1st Fly Casting competition 1999 Fly Casting Competition Photos & Result The inaugural SFAS Fly Casting Competition will be held on 9th May 1999 from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. The venue for the competition is at Chinese High School. This event is being jointly organized by the SFAS, Tickle Tackle and Angler's Supplies.   The casting competition shall comprise the following events: Single Handed Fly Accuracy Casting Single Handed Fly Distance Casting "Hole-In-One" Single Handed Fly Modified Fly Line Distance Casting   Prizes for the event are sponsored by Angler's Supplies, Tickle Tackle, SAGE, Scientific Anglers, TAMER and ABEL. The competition shall be open to members and non-SFAS members.   The Rules & Regulations for the Single Handed Fly Accuracy Casting and Single Handed Fly Distance Casting are adapted from the International Casting Sport Federation. The Hole-In-One is a unique opportunity for fly anglers to pit their casting skills. The fly is to be entered into a hole the size of a golf cup. The Single Handed Fly Modified Fly Line Distance Casting will enable anglers to use a regular fly line, shooting head system or any modified fly line to go the distance.
