6. Small Metal Balls (Optional)
2. Stainless Steel Wire 7. 2 Split Rings
3. Swivel 8. 2 Trebles Hooks
4. Beads 9. A Pair of stick-on eyes

Step1
Start by clamping the electric drill onto the vise and mount a drill bit slightly smaller than the internal diameter of the float.
You can also use a knife to carve out the shape of the popper and go to Step 4.
Step2
To secure the float onto the drill, paste a piece of masking tape around the drill bit and force it in. You can start shaping the popper body by using coarser sandpaper for roughing followed by giving it a smooth finish using finer sandpaper.
Step3
The shape of the popper is almost complete.
Step4
Cut the popper face at an angle for better action. You may also create a cupped face by sanding it.
Step5
Drill a hole of about 35mm from the head of the popper and insert a swivel in.
Step6
Insert the wire into the popper. Make sure the wire go through the swivel eyelet. You may also add a few small metal balls for the rattle. Add a ball sinker and finish it with an eyelet.
Step7
Finally sealed the cupped face, swivel and the ball sinker with epoxy. This will give a better finishing when painting.
Step8
Give a coat of white enamel paint as a base coat, after the paint has dried sand it with extra fine sandpaper before giving it another coat. Spray the colors you want onto the popper and attach a pair of stick-on eyes. Finally give the popper a clear coat of epoxy.
