Fly Fishing for Sail

Fly fishing for Sail is all about team work, you need minimum of three people to get it done.
The #1 person is the "Teaser Guy" If he/she is good, changes of you hooking a sail is about 98%, unless you can't even flick the fly out of the boat.
The # 2 person is the boat captain after your hook up, how long it going to take you to land the sail will depend on how good the captain can move the boat around (e.g. if the sail dives he have to know what angle to move to make the sail come back up) and go after the sail at a correct speed that you can gain line back (if he/she goes to fast the angler may loss the line tension).
#3 person will be the angler, his/her job is to cast the fly out to the sail and make a hook up, maintain the line tension.
In IGFA legal way, just before the fly was cast the angler have to shout "OUT" and the captain will have to put the boat out of gear immediately.

Pic001 is a basic setup if you only have three person. [1] & [3] are chain of soft body lure (e.g. rubber squid or fish), [2] is the teaser rod, the teaser rod have to be stiff and strong most of them are made from a surf rod load up with 60 to 80 lb "spectra/dyneema" Braid line, and the other end of the line is a hookless bait.
